A family business that was established in the early 1700s, currently cultivates 26,5 hectares of vines in the Balatonfüred, Csopak wine region in Szentantalfa, located in the picturesque Nivegy Valley, which is 5 kilometres from Lake Balaton, between Zánka and Nagyvázsony. A nearly three century year-old grape growing tradition has been passed down from father to son at the winery. Given that Balaton Highland viticulture has a great tradition in the industry, they thought they would apply tried and tested methods of old to their cultivation technique to produce a genuine organic wine. In addition to bottled wines the winery also produces and sells wine in bulk, 100% organic fruit juices and grape seed products (powder and oil).

Dobosi gained popularity in the recent years due to their commited work in the establishment of Csopaki Codex (strict self regulations of conscious winemakers in the Csopak PDO) and their Hegybor Olaszrizling, which act as an ‘origo style’ in the region. Their business objective is to familiarize the customers with the products and company's commitment to organic products and their quality, values that span over several generations.
