“We are a Swiss - German couple with an extraordinary dedication to wine. In 1995 we had the chance to lease a 40 year old vineyard with Kékoportó (Blauer Portugieser) in Villány the most famous red wine region in Hungary. This was the basis and starting point for our winery. Originally born by the desire to act as hobby vintners after 20 years of private occupation with the medium wine, volume, ambition level and especially quality have risen. The decision to produce wine not only as side lining in our spare time but in a professional manner was the logic consequence.

We founded our artisanal style winery in 2003 and since then step by step we planted the vineyards and built a wine cellar with the necessary equipment. We are supported and consulted by our son who in 2008 has received his degree in oenology in Switzerland. Continuity is therefore ensured in the future. Even if we do not have an ecological label, the treatment of the vineyards is nature-oriented (e.g. no Glyphosate, hand harvesting). Our passion for wine has born fruits resulting in numerous international awards and high scores in tastings.”
