Béres Vineyards and Winery is dedicated to producing and promoting outstanding Tokaji wines both in Hungary and internationally, while contributing to the reputation and global recognition of the Tokaj wine region, its wines, and its rich cultural heritage.
More than 20 years ago, alongside the family’s successful pharmaceutical business, the Béres family committed itself to Tokaj by establishing a winery in the heart of the region, in Erdőbénye. Inspired by the uniqueness, centuries-old traditions, and world-renowned wines of Tokaj, the family set out to preserve and support these exceptional values.
Across all of its activities, the Béres philosophy is built on shared core values: high quality, reliability, and authenticity. Their motto, “Every Drop is Béres,” reflects this commitment. Both Béres Drops and Tokaji Aszú are considered Hungarikums — outstanding symbols of Hungarian heritage — and the winery proudly works to support and promote their success.
Beyond winemaking, the winery is also committed to the development of its local community and the wider Tokaj region. Since its foundation, Béres has actively contributed to the life of Erdőbénye and participated in the work of professional organizations across Tokaj-Hegyalja.
