Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2021, the winery was founded in 1996 by Attila Juhász and his brother. The history of the family winery started from a small garden of about one and a half hectares.
In 2018, when Ádám Juhász took over the management of the winery and winemaking they also opened their new building, which features one of the most advanced technologies in the country. Today, the wines of the Juhász Brothers are made from the fruits of nearly 350 hectares of grapes, which are recognizable for their high quality, pure fruitiness and unmistakable variety. It boasts prizes at many domestic and international wine competitions.
Their philosophy is simple: infinite fruitiness with a combination of tradition and modern technology.
"Our 350-hectare estate is located in the Eger Wine Region. Our most important vineyards are located on the borders of Eger, Egerszalók, Egerszólát, Demjén, Nagytálya, Andornaktálya and Maklár. Among the planted varieties are the blue grapes Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Portugieser, Zweigelt, Blauburger and Merlot, which form an excellent basis for the production of Egri Bikaver. White wines are made from Muscat Ottonel, Irsai Olivér, Olaszrizling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot gris and Leányka. Among the plantations we find both old and new installations. We use state-of-the-art cultivation methods for new installations. In these vineyards, cultivation takes place within the framework of the agri-environmental management program. In the plantations we work with umbrella and Guyot cultivation methods. Our two most important vineyards are Paptag (10 ha) and Chestnut (6 ha), which are already familiar to many. These two vineyards produce the top red wines of the winery every year."
