A dark ruby wine, still bright but showing garnet highlights. The bouquet is complex with black plum, dark chocolate, a touch of coffee, sandalwood and dried cherry. To taste, it is rich, ripe and generous with impressive fruit concentration for a 13-year-old wine and flavours of plum, black berry and dark chocolate. The tannins are mellowing nicely and becoming harmonious. A complex, structured wine offering lovely drinking now.
