An extremely smooth red wine with light berry aromas and fine roasted notes. Rounded off by the light spiciness of Blauburger. The Free Solo Red owes its salty and mineral touch to its proximity to Lake Neusiedl.
Blend: Merlot, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Taste: currant, smoky, mineral
History: The composition of this cuvée was determined by chance. We actually wanted to clear the small vineyard with the rare Blauburger variety when we took it on lease. However, the wine made from perfect grapes and the combination with Merlot and Zweigelt convinced us.
