Nivegy Valley dry white wine with protected designation of origin. The Nivegy Valley name has been protected by the local wine-growing community and can only be produced from quality Italian Riesling grapes harvested in the valley. At the end of fermentation, half of the wine is put into 500 litre wooden barrels with a fine lees and the other half is matured in tank. The nose is full of ripe fruit notes and subtle barrel ageing, which are completed on the palate with a long, medium acidity. Our classic category wines, such as this organic Italian Riesling, are recommended for ageing from 1 to 3 years. Already at the age of one year, it holds together nicely, with a nice bottle bouquet appearing by the second year.
