A little over half blue franc, 23% cabernet sauvignon, 12% pinot noir, 5% zweigelt and 5% blueburgers, it was aged for 18 months in 225 and 300 litre oak barrels and then in bottle for a year before release. The nose is dominated by peppery, spicy notes, while the flavours are clove, cherry, plum and chocolate. A lively, vibrant palate with a long finish.

Characteristics
Looking at white wines, there are two different styles that complement each other. On the one hand, many producers make lean, dry, primary fruit-driven wines with high acidity, while others produce wines from high-quality varieties that are matured in oak, have higher alcohol and are maybe bottled with a touch of residual sugar. The rich aromatics makes the former appealing, while the latter are appreciated for their full-bodied, fleshy structure and oily smoothness.
