Rich ruby red, juicy in the nose with aromas of cherries and red berries; animating on the palate, a great representative of the grape variety with a lot of the fruity charm of ripe cherries and soft tannins, good complexity, well balanced oak influence, fine touches of vanilla, very juicy with a good body; a good length.

About the producer

Weingut Gebrüder Nittnaus

Located in Gols in Austria’s Burgenland, Weingut Gebrüder Nittnaus is a family winery with a winemaking tradition spanning more than 300 years. Today, brothers Andreas and Hans Michael Nittnaus represent the new generation, combining their family heritage with a modern approach to winegrowing and winemaking.
The winery focuses on sustainable and environmentally conscious viticulture, with the unique climate and diverse soils around Lake Neusiedl playing a central role in shaping their wines. Their portfolio covers expressive white, red and sweet wines, with a particular focus on the characteristic varieties of Burgenland, including Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch.
The Nittnaus philosophy is built around authenticity, sustainability, family heritage and a continuous desire to develop and explore new ideas.
