We have been dealing with viniculture and wine-production in the Villány Wine Region for generations. Our family estate started operating in 1990. Initially, we owned half a hectare of plantation and sold 1500 bottles of wine annually.
We have been investing in technology since 2001, as quality grapes and technology are inseparable. We are trying to maximise the exploitation of natural conditions in wine production, protecting the values specific to the individual slopes. We believe in family-scale estates, where we all the work phases and the items to be produced are closely linked to us.
Beside handmade harvest, since 2011 we have used a special picker in the cellar that picks the grapes gently from the bunch. As a result, all grapes get to the vibrating plate uncrushed to undergo assortment. In the container, fermentation starts within the grapes, therefore the natural fruity flavour can be felt in the wines, as well. The ingredients of great red wines are put into 225-litre barrique barrels, where they are preserved for one or two years, depending on the decision of the oenologist.
